Belles definitely gives you a most captivating experience, bringing such vivid pictures to mind as you bond with Isabelle. I felt so connected with her right away. Such an amazing place that she lived, although she had to take care of her grandma, she still had such a perfect life. Until she was ripped away from it all in a matter of hours. She knew when the phone call came through from the social worker that things weren't good. But what was to come was never expected.
Isabelle is to move in with a long lost family member. Not only that, but this so called mysterious family member is running for senate. It' all high society and snobbery where she is to now make a life for herself. Obviously, the rich and spoiled view things much different than Isabelle. Having a cousin practically the same age doesn't help her, it only gets her viewed as more of an outcast. Everyone at school knows her background and frowns on it. I applaud Isabelle as she held her head high and never let them get to her. Provided with help from a friend who had some rocky experiences along the way, she is able to push through and show them all that she can do exactly what they can. But it's when the truth comes out, the truth about who she really is that changes everything. Everyone's life is about to change.
