A deliciously delectable novel that you will devour! Wendy has such a beautiful way of writing, allowing you to fall right into the story, getting a taste of sweet and a touch of evil.

Entering the life of Anna, a kind and gentle soul and a sweetheart you just can't resist. All she knows about her family is that her mother loved her, which is odd, because she sensed it even though she never even knew her. And her father was arrested when she was born. She has an amazing memory, never gets sick, and can sense others emotions and aura's.  Aura's?

Oh, yes. Here lies the interesting part. But we will get to that in a bit.

It is when Anna is at a party with her best friend Jay, and about to make a huge mistake, having a drug slipped in her drink, that the super hot and fly Kaidan shows up. Just in time too! Kaidan is a drummer that Jay idols, so Anna is forced at times to be around him. But now there begins to be an attraction. It's when Kai starts asking Anna questions as to why she is different and Anna knows that he shouldn't know these things that he does unless he is different too.

Here's the thing, Anna doesn't know exactly how it is that she is different. She just knows that she is. Apparently Kai has some explaining to do. He ends up teaching her as well. Over time, Anna ends up falling head over heels for him. As to what they are? Kai is a demon, and Anna is too, only she hadn't been trained properly because her father was taken to prison and she was raised by Patti, her adoptive mother. There is nobody else like Anna though. Because Anna's mother was an Angel. I can't possibly imagine just what might happen if word got out that Anna wasn't full demon.

What worse things than that can happen? Maybe that other demons found out about her existence and her innocence. Oh wait, that is what happened!
