The Weepers definitely has the ability to keep you highly interested and full of anticipation. I can very well say that it does have a feel that is very similar to The Walking Dead but I definitely think that it made me love it all that much more. Let's just subtract the zombies, and insert weepers. A creation all of it's own.
I was definitely feeling sympathy and heartache for the family that belonged to Sherry. Living in a bunker for over three years. Not seeing daylight whatsoever, and eating the last of the food that her family had stored left them hungry and empty bellied for two full days before her father decided he couldn't wait on the government any longer. Taking action into his own hands and Sherry by his side, they opened the bunker to find a city long forgotten. It's when they run into the rabies infected that they realize that things aren't solved.
Losing her father to what is called a weeper, pussy tears running down their eyes, Sherry is even more determined to not only get him back, but find help and food for her family. It's when they all see what the governments true plans were, that they decide to take further action. But what can they really do in a city overrun by wickedly infected beasts?
